Shipping information

• Standard Shipping for all domestic orders (5-7 business days), price upon checkout.
• FREE Standard Shipping for all domestic orders (5-7 business days) for orders over USD$70.
• Express shipping available for domestic orders (1-3 business days), price upon checkout.
• Standard International Shipping for all international orders (10-15 business days), price upon checkout.
• FREE Standard International Shipping for all international orders (10-15 business days) for orders over USD$120.
• All orders are shipped directly from our US warehouse within 24 hours.

All orders received on weekdays before 13:00 EST will be shipped out the same day. Orders placed on the weekend will be shipped out on the Monday.

We are not responsible for any import or custom fees associated with your order, please check with your country’s regulations before ordering.

Pre-Orders

All pre-ordered items will be shipped on or before the shipping date stated below the 'Pre-order' button on the product page. If your order contains an in-stock product and pre-ordered product, they will be shipped at the same time when the pre-ordered product becomes available.

Returns Policy

Orders are not eligible for refunds, exchanges only.

Exchanges can be made within 14 days of receipt and are at your own cost. i.e. return shipping to the warehouse and back to you are not included.

Items must be returned in a saleable condition (defined below). Any items that have been worn, used, damaged, altered, washed or are missing the original tags, will not be accepted.

Exchanges are subject to product availability - please email us at support@qu-nine.com with your exchange request so that we may reserve the item for you in advance.  

Late or lost deliveries

Please specify the correct shipping address as QUNINE takes no responsibility for missing parcels that have been sent to the wrong address or left unattended.  

Any order discrepancies relating to missing/lost items must be reported to us in writing via email at support@qu-nine.com within 30 days of the order being dispatched.

Couriers may update the tracking as “delivered” prior to delivery, so please allow up to 24 hours before assuming the parcel is lost. If after this period, you're still unable to locate your order, contact our support team with your order details and we'll do all we can to help out. 

The Function

If you live in any cold climate where snow is prevalent, you'll know that when there's a heavy bout of snow and ice, the pavement and roads are often salted to help melt the snow faster. Unfortunately this proves dangerous for dogs on two occasions:

1. Dryness, cracking & salt burns
   Ice's temperature, when combined with salt, will actually drop below freezing point because of a chemical reaction that occurs when the two elements interact. Not only is this extremely uncomfortable for your poor pup (imagine yourself walking not only on freezing snow but on surfaces even colder than freezing point!), but the temperature can cause freeze/salt burns on their delicate paws. 
   
   The salt can also result in dryness and eventual cracking of their paw pads. This leads to blisters, bleeding and general discomfort for your fur-baby. 
   
   
2. Toxicity to their bodies
   If that wasn't bad enough, if your pup ingests any of the salt-snow mixture, it can cause toxicity to their bodies. The chemicals they use in the salt mixture isn't as pure as the table salt we use and can prove toxic to their systems if they ingest any whether it's directly during their walk or if they lick their paws afterwards and consume it indirectly. 
   
   

When it snows, wearing dog booties is essential to build a barrier between the salt, the snow and your dog.

Hot Climates

Live in a hot climate? You're not exempt from paw burns either! If you can't safely place the back of your hand on the pavement for longer than 5-10 seconds, your dog isn't safe to be walking on the pavement either. Protect their delicate paws from the heat to save them from heat blister-burns and in turn, bleeding and infections. Please note that all shoes are designed for temporary and not long term wear as dogs may overheat in the Summer.

The Materials

Our Signature Range sneakers (Jordy's, Maxy's & Balenci's) are made from high-density neoprene fabric, the same material that scuba divers use in their diving suits. The neoprene fabric is water-resistant, heat-resistant and extremely flexible and lightweight. It provides protection from the environment whilst being light and flexible enough for your dog to move freely, without restriction. 

All sneakers in the Signature Range come with a soft fleece lining for additional comfort and a heel protecting tongue insert to prevent fur from being caught in the zipper. 

The non-slip rubber soles create a barrier for your dog's paws on the often rough outdoor terrains. When it snows and rains, the rubber soles are fantastic for keeping your dog's pads dry and prevents them from slipping and sliding down the pavement. In the heat, they're a functional choice to prevent blister burns. 

Branded velcro straps are strategically placed at the height of your dog's ankles to create a snug fit and ensure they don't slip off while your dog is in motion. They are size adjustable to allow for a custom fit. The sneaker shape is also designed on a 45 degree slant to suit the natural shape of your dog's paw placement and prevent restrictions to their movement.
